Forgotten Alabama

If you haven't joined Glenn Wills Facebook group Forgotten Alabama, you are missing a treat. People are constantly adding photographs for forgotten and abandoned houses, churches, cars, equipment, schools, and all types of other locations throughout the state of Alabama. These posts are not only beautiful but educational as well. I never knew about the mining town of Run Rock, AL until today. The picture of the old mining town commissary brought lots of responses about the history of the location and how it got its name.

When the Johnson Center is cleared to be open to the public again, we hope you will come by to see Glenn's photographs in person. Until then, enjoy your virtual tour on the Johnson Center Facebook page.

Stay safe and be well!  Brenda
